Model for the development of vocational English teaching competencies for vocational teachers

Faculty of Education, Naresuan University by Ms. Nattha Boonto, Ph.D. student in Education Management, has developed a model for the development of vocational English teaching capabilities for vocational teachers in order to truly meet the needs of the establishment and the labor market. Asst. Prof. Dr. Henry Yuh Anchunda, Dr. Phatthaya Sangsang and Asst. Prof. Dr. Anushakon Prao are mentors. The development process uses a 4-step R&D model covering 4 content areas: English for Specific Purposes (ESP),The design of active learning activities, real-world measurement and evaluation, and the actual application of teaching management. The results showed that the teachers who were developed exceeded the required criteria (80%) and had the highest level of satisfaction. The model can be applied immediately by the school and its affiliates.
