Myanmar Naresuan University (NU), represented by Naresuan University Graduate School (NUGS), joined in Thailand Education Fair (Myanmar) 2019 held on 27 28 April 2019 at Sule ShangriLa Hotel, Yangon and Hotel Shwe Pyi Thar, Mandalay respectively.


Asst. Prof. Dr. Civilaiz Wanaratwichit, Deputy Dean for Academic Affairs of NUGS, led the NU team composed of NUGS management staff and academic personnel in the 2-day education fair. The Royal Thai Embassy in Yangon Myanmar together with the Association of Myanmar Alumni from Universities in Thailand (AMAUT) and the Thai Business Association of Myanmar (TBAM) organized the Thailand Education Fair (Myanmar) 2019.

The education fair aims to promote international undergraduate and graduate programs and courses offered in Thai universities and other academic institutes to students, parents, and interested individuals, groups, and organizations in Myanmar.

The education fair allows interested parties to obtain first-hand information on the courses they are interested in, direct from the representatives of the Thai universities as well as ask clarificatory questions regarding specific courses as Thai universities have different program offerings.

NUGS exhibits both undergraduate and graduate level international programs offered from its faculties and colleges including the Faculty of Medicine, Faculty of Allied Health Sciences, Faculty of Health Sciences, Faculty of Business Administration, Economics and Communication, Faculty of Architecture, Faculty of Agriculture Natural resources and environment, Faculty of Engineering, Faculty of Education, Faculty of Humanities, Faculty of Science, Faculty of Social Sciences, Faculty of Law, Naresuan University International College among others.

The Thailand Education Fair (Myanmar) 2019 was held in two days and two different venues.

The Association of Myanmar Alumni from Universities in Thailand – AMAUT and the Thai Business Association of Myanmar – TBAM hosted the first day of the education fair held on 27 April 2019, at the Sule Shangri-La Hotel, Yangon, Myanmar.

Mr. NARONG BOONSATHEANWONG, Minister from the Royal Thai Embassy, Yangon, Myanmar did the honors in opening the Thai Education fair (Myanmar) 2019 with U Moe Myint Kyaw, President of the Association of Myanmar Alumni from Universities in Thailand (AMAUT) welcoming the delegates from different Thai Universities and other participants.

The Association of Myanmar Alumni from Universities in Thailand – AMAUT hosted the second day held at Hotel Shwe Pyi Thar, Mandalay, Myanmar, on the 28th of April 2019.

Dr. Sint Soe, Rector of Mandalay Technology University, presided over the opening of the second-day activities that featured different booths set-up by various Thai Universities to present the programs they offer to the participants of the fair.

A total of 20 Thai universities and academic institutes took part in the said event accommodating more than 250 participants.
